Bengali Community
Children from the Bengali Sunday school and from St Luke's school in Portsmouth performed at the New Theatre Royal 19/5/01. The project consisted of a 5 day workshop incorporating art, craft, circus, drama, music and performance with 32 people.
The workshops and performance were based on the theme of the environment and the effect of global warming on Bangladesh. Using recycled materials we made costumes, shadow puppets and Ultra violet props for a performance to all the friends and families of the Bengali community.
